2014-2015: Important Notes, Downloads, and Dates:




Our school community is invited to take part in several initiatives our Student Leadership group has organized to support the citizenship pillar of our Character Education program. They are accepting donations of non-perishable food items, toonies for turkeys and/or new hats, gloves, scarves, mittens, wool socks (items can be home knit!) to decorate our Tree of Warm Wishes which is located outside our Main Office. All items to be donated to Iris Kirby House - a home for women and children experiencing relationship abuse.

No classes - Friday, November 28th - teacher professional development.

Thank you to all of our students who took part in Jersey Day on Thursday by wearing their favorite team colours/jersey. If the numbers of jerseys are any sign, we have plenty of students with an interest and passion for sport.

This program also promotes an atmosphere of acceptance, trust and responsibility for others.

Stand Up To Bullying At Mount Pearl Intermediate:


Every school year Mount Pearl Intermediate dedicates a day to promote anti-bullying awareness amongst our students. To show our support on that day we ask everyone to wear pink.. In addition, some of our students have prepared a short paragraph to further educate us on this issue.

School Breakfast Program:


In order to promote student learning and the acquisition of knowledge it is imperative that everyone must maintain a well-balanced breakfast in the morning. With the assistance of our teachers and community our school has developed a breakfast program powered to fuel the learning minds of our school.

MPI's New Accelerated Reader Initiative:






















Welcome to our new and improved web-based Accelerated Reader initiative called Renaissance Place. We are currently in the process of setting up this program so stay tuned as you will begin to see live status updates of books our students are currently reading.
